Making a career change is daunting at any age, but the transition into data is one of the most rewarding moves you can make. We have seen hundreds of career changers come through our programmes, and the pattern of success is remarkably consistent.
The Transferable Skills You Already Have
If you have managed a team, run a shop floor, or balanced a budget, you already have skills that data teams desperately need. Communication, stakeholder management, and commercial awareness are the qualities that separate good analysts from great ones.
What the First 14 Weeks Look Like
Our bootcamp is intensive by design. You will spend mornings learning new concepts — SQL queries, Python scripts, Power BI dashboards — and afternoons applying them in Prism, our synthetic e-commerce environment with over 500 million rows of data.
By week 6, most learners are building dashboards that would impress a hiring manager. By week 14, they are completing capstone projects that go straight onto their portfolios.
The Job Search
After training, our Accelerate programme kicks in. This includes:
- One-to-one career coaching
- CV and LinkedIn optimisation
- Mock technical interviews
- Direct introductions to hiring partners
On average, our graduates secure their first data role within 8 weeks of completing the programme.
Real Stories
Sarah came to us from 12 years in retail management. Within 4 months of starting the bootcamp, she was working as a data analyst at a FTSE 250 company. Marcus, a former teaching assistant, is now a junior data engineer at a fast-growing fintech startup.
These are not exceptions — they are the norm.
